lovely words about us

LOVELY WORDS ABOUT US

JULIE C

'Auntie Emma' is loved by our five year old rescue lab-springer sisters, Maeve and Nelly. The stress of their re-homing, just a few months ago, means the girls require some special attention on their walks at the moment, especially when meeting some other doggies. To help them overcome their 'dog reactive' behaviour they are on a training programme, meaning walks are a bit more disciplined. So, it's been really brilliant to have Emma's support with walking them both, and being on board with the 'chicken regime'! And also absolutely brilliant to have her stay over at our house when work or holiday trips take us a way for a few nights. The first time away from the girls was a little nerve-wracking, but there was really nothing to be worried about. On coming home the girls were happy to see us (I'm pleased to say) but not concerned or upset... because they had been enjoying a little holiday of their own with Emma, playing in the garden, having film nights, and of course having their lovely walks. As Maeve and Nelly have had enough swapping around, having someone take care of them at home is by far the best (if not the only) option. I will definitely be asking Emma to look after the girls during our summer holiday (two weeks I hope!) Thanks Auntie Emma, we are looking forward to seeing you soon!

Emma is a true Dr Doolittle, would trust her with my beloved pup any day of the week. Can't recommend her enough.

LYDIA H, RSPCA Leicester

Emma has volunteered for Woodside Animal Centre, helping mainly in our cattery.  During her time here she interacted well with other volunteers and staff and worked hard with all tasks, including cleaning the pens and socialisation of the animals.  She is obviously a great animal lover and showed much commitment and passion towards their care.

We have two high maintenance goldies that Emma has not only walked but looked after at our house for a long weekend. She is so loving, caring & responsible- the girls took an instant love to her which doesn't happen often! Selfishly, it was so great for us to have not only peace of mind our furry babies were in good hands, but our house too! Thank you Emma!

We can recommend Silver's Pets ...

... Emma looked after our cats when we were away, made sure they were fed and happy and well loved ...

... and reassured me as a neurotic crazy Cat Lady that my lovely cats were doing well!

DEBBIE S

Came back home to a happy cat after being away for a couple days. He had knocked the hot water tap on at some point, the windows were steamed up when Emma arrived and thankfully it wasn't flooding! I hate to think how long it'd been on (gas bill) but at least she was there to turn it off!

FIONA M

Reliable, professional and obviously loves animals. I'm very confident that I'm going to come home to a happy cat!

FLORENCE L.S

Emma looked over our cat Dyno few times already and we always find back home a happy cat.
Emma is reliable and professional and she definitively is an animal lover. We highly recommend her if you are looking for a pet sitter around Newcastle

FRANCES S

Emma always goes the extra mile to look after Murphy. He thoroughly enjoys his walks with her and it's lovely knowing he's being cared for whilst I'm at work.

CARLA M

Emma is a god send! She took excellent care of our two (badly behaved) dogs whilst we were away for a long weekend. We used her sleepover service, she was professional and trustworthy, she took lots of interest in both dogs ensuring all of their needs were meet. It's not often we come home to calm dog who we clearly very content during their time with her. I would highly recommend her services and will definitely be using silver pets for any future time away without our four legged friends. Thank you Emma! From Carla and Woody and Roo x

LUCY Mc

Fabulous service!! I left my two new bunnies in Emma's care for one week and they have been extremely well cared for. The service is excellent as I received a daily text to keep me informed, which put my mind at rest. I arrived home to two very happy bunnies that were thriving and happy. Emma clearly loved caring for them throughout the week! I will spread the word for her services and will without doubt be using her services again in the future.

SUZANNE L

I can't recommend Emma highly enough! I was dreading going on holiday after a bad experience with a cattery but thankfully I found Emma. One of my cats is usually nervous with new people but to my surprise he took to Emma really quickly! She sent me regular updates, photos and videos so I felt able to totally relax and not worry about the cats which was such a relief. I came home to two very happy, well-cared for cats :) I would highly recommend Emma's service which is of a high quality and very reasonably priced.

JULIA B

Emma was recommended by a friend and I was slightly nervous about leaving my keys and pets in the care of a stranger, but she is fab! She has twice looked after our cat and two guinea pigs when we've been away on holiday, and she has given us regular updates on how they're doing and sent us pics of them looking very happy. They are much happier at home than sending them off somewhere and I always feel awful asking a friend or neighbour to have the hassle of looking after them, but she took that stress away. Not only that - she's lovely too! Thank you Emma - you will definitelyhear from us again.
